Penelope HillProgramme Participant
Member bio: Penny has been fascinated with storytelling for as long as she can remember. Inspired by her ancient Greek namesake when young, she learned how to weave with words as well as with thread. A writer, a gamer, and a lover of world-building, she crafts fantastic settings and mythic histories – but can also be found with a needle (or two) in her hands, practising her stitch-craft. She’s been involved in fandom almost as long, attending, participating, and even running a convention (or two). She’s combined her fan activities with her textile art and become the Mythweaver – her flight of stitched dragons, phoenixes, and other mythical beasts might be found in the art show. Writing under her full name (Penelope Hill) her Publications include Working Weekend, The Vanished Mage, and The Harlequin:The Drapers Reel from Elsewhen Press. She lives with two cats, two other fans, a huge library of books, a treasure hoard of fabric and thread, and far too many dice.
